AGM 4th June 2008 

 

22 members attended the AGM. 

 

Richard Boylan [right], receiving the Watkinson trophy from Bill Lumley. 

The first time Huddersfield Knights have won this trophy since 1999. 

 

This time Peter Shaw [Netherton] had to settle for the Littlewood shield [2nd in Watkinson] 

 

Roger Tuddenham [Chartist] was happy to win the Examiner Handicap [first time since 2003].

John Newsome and Bill Lumley both played in the successful Netherton B team that won the Bill Lumley Rapidplay.

John Hill has the honour of being the first recipient of the new David Woodhead trophy [donated by Barry Brian].

Chris Booth was unable to pick up his Runner Up Trophy in the Individual KO Section 1 as he was on holiday in Spain.

This time it was Bill Lumley's turn to pick up a trophy. Barry Brian [right] doing the honours as Bill received runner up trophy in the Individual KO Section 2B [David Woodhead Section].
