Player Registration / Eligibility for Holme Valley
|
|
According to current rules...
|
|
Any player who has not yet played this season may switch his registration to Holme Valley. This can be done at any time. Even if he has played in the Watkinson but not the Examiner he may switch to Holme Valley. I am sure he would be warmly welcomed at Holme Valley
|
|
In this case Holme Valley would hold his primary registration for the rest of the season. This means he could not then play for another other club in the Examiner.
|
|
However, since Holme Valley have not entered the Watkinson this season, he is eligible to play for ONE other Club in the Watkinson.{e.g. John Harrison, who has Holme Valley as his primary registration, has played for David Browns this season in the Watkinson. He is not, however, eligible to play for David Browns in the Examiner}
|

The relevant rules are quoted below:
|
|
B4. A player may only play for the Club which holds his registration UNLESS the player’s Club does not enter a competition. In this case (only) the player may play for one other Club in that competition.
|
|
5. A player may only play for one team in any one season in the Examiner Handicap Competition, Bill Lumley Rapidplay and the Team Challenge Knock-Out.
|
|
|
|
If anyone wanted to change the rules then
|
|
11. Alteration to Constitution or Rules
This may only take place at an Annual General Meeting or Extraordinary General
Meeting with a two thirds majority of votes cast.
Notice of proposed changes must be sent to the Secretary 21 days in advance.
